Having already hosted the Olympic Games in 1988 and the FIFA World Cup finals in 2002, Korea is busy preparing for its next big sporting events. In 2010 the country will host its first Formula One grand prix and in 2011 the city of Daegu will host the World Athletics Championships. In conjunction with the Korean Tourism Organization, Sports Travel News published an eight-page sports tourism supplement for World Travel Market 2009 in London.
